General Insect Sprays

Whole-Home Protection for Seasonal Insect Problems

Sometimes it’s not just one pest — it’s a bit of everything. From crawling insects like spiders and earwigs to flying pests like cluster flies and wasps, many homeowners in Ontario face a mix of seasonal insect issues. Our general insect spray service is designed to create a protective barrier around your home’s exterior, helping stop infestations before they start.

This is an excellent choice for clients who want broad, preventative coverage — whether it’s spring, summer, or fall.

What Does This Spray Cover?

Our general insect sprays target a wide range of nuisance insects, including:

  • Spiders

  • Earwigs

  • Ants

  • Cluster flies

  • Sow bugs & pill bugs

  • Wasps (low activity zones)

  • Silverfish, centipedes, and other occasional invaders

Note: We’ll always tailor our product selection and application areas based on the specific issues around your property.

When Is the Best Time to Spray?

  • Spring (April–June): Prevents insects from nesting or entering early

  • Summer (July–August): Controls high insect activity during peak months

  • Fall (September–October): Stops late-season invaders like cluster flies and spiders before they get inside

Many clients choose seasonal applications for year-round peace of mind.

🌼 What About Pollinators?

At Mitchell’s Nuisance Wildlife Solutions, we take pollinator safety seriously. Bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects play a vital role in our environment, and our insect spray treatments are carefully designed to avoid harming them.

  • We do not spray flowering plants, gardens, or vegetation where pollinators are active.

  • Treatments are focused solely on structural areas such as siding, soffits, window frames, and foundation lines.

  • All products are Health Canada–approved and applied using techniques that minimize risk to non-target species.

  • If you have pollinator-friendly gardens or sensitive zones, we’re happy to adjust the treatment area.

We’re committed to balancing effective insect control with responsible environmental practices.
